Overview
Medical Social Worker (MSW) – Everett, Washington. Travel assignment in a hospital setting. Start date June 8, 2026. Duration 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,723–$1,768. Guaranteed hours 70 per 2-week pay period. Shift 4x10 days. Level II Trauma Center with two nearby campus locations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments for adult and geriatric patients and develop the plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions, including referrals to community resources and services
- Document assessment findings, care plans, and progress notes in the EPIC charting system
- Support patients and families in navigating medical, emotional, and social needs during acute care and discharge planning
- Collaborate with social services, physical therapy, pharmacy, interpretation services, transportation, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Float across hospital units as needed within the two campus locations to meet patient care demands

Requirements
- Active Washington state social work license in good standing (LICSW, LSWAIC; LMSW, LCSW; Pending license accepted per posting; WA license required)
- Certification: BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical social work experience; posting notes also reference a 2-year minimum in some instances—please confirm with the driving account manager
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric populations in acute care, discharge planning, and care coordination settings
- Travel assignment: Locals not accepted; 50-mile radius rules apply
- Orientation and onboarding: 40 hours of orientation prior to start; pre-start modules may be required
