About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established civil engineering firm known for delivering high-profile transportation, infrastructure, and structural projects. The Structural Engineer will play a key role within the Structures Department , contributing technical expertise, leadership, and ownership of complex design and delivery assignments. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
Lead and execute structural design assignments for transportation and infrastructure projects, including bridges and related structures.
Produce and deliver high-quality structural drawings and plans using software such as MicroStation, OBD/OBM, and DOT design tools .
Ensure project delivery within defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Collaborate across disciplines - interfacing with engineering teams, planners, and stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in project reviews, design coordination meetings, and quality control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Active PE license (required).
Demonstrated experience in MicroStation , OBD/OBM , and FDOT bridge plan production .
Strong background in reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge design , with familiarity using DOT design software and MathCad preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
