Fatty Mart is a neighborhood market and casual eatery serving great food, wine, beer, and good vibes to our Mar Vista community. We’re part of the Fatty family of restaurants (Little Fatty, Accomplice Bar) and we love creating a welcoming, hospitality-driven experience for every guest.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. This role is the heart of guest interaction. Duties include ringing up food orders, guiding customers through our wine and beer selection, and keeping the market running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
Accurately process sales through our POS system and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
Share product knowledge, including basic wine and beer suggestions.
Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized counter and dining area.
Assist with restocking shelves, light food prep, and opening/closing duties as needed.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
Previous cashier, retail, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with basic math and handling cash.
