Welcome to St. Francis Indian School, also known as Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a High School Academic Advisor. As a High School Academic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic guidance and support to high school students, assisting them in setting academic goals and creating action plans to achieve them.
• Monitor student progress and performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop individualized academic plans for students.
• Offer social and emotional support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of high school life.
• Organize and facilitate workshops on study skills, time management, and other academic success strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with high school students in an academic setting.

• Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
