As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Elite in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a busy retail location where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support guests and staff with exceptional service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft trespassing and/or disorderly conduct while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support loss prevention and store leadership with security-related concerns access control and follow-up on reported issues in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
