What You'll Do as a CNC Operator:

  • Set up & operate CNC machines, including light programming.
  • Run CNC and other woodworking equipment to mill parts to spec.
  • Read & interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
  • Inspect & measure parts to ensure accuracy and proper fit.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during production.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and follow equipment guidelines.
  • Track production and job completion.
  • Assist with furniture prep and assembly.
  • Handle materials and support general shop tasks.
  • Work with the team to meet production goals and keep a clean, safe workspace.

 

Our Ideal CNC Operator:

  • Experienced: 2-3 years operating CNC and woodworking equipment in a manufacturing setting; mechanically inclined; familiar with routers, panel saws, boring, and edge banding machines; able to read shop drawings and blueprints; uses measuring tools (tape, calipers, gauges) to ensure accuracy and fit; must be 18+.
  • Detail-oriented: Works with precision and anticipates issues to ensure proper fit.
  • Problem-solver: Troubleshoots and adjusts during production.
  • Reliable: Shows up, takes ownership, and follows through.
  • Team-oriented: Works closely with others to keep production moving and maintain quality standards.
  • Tech-capable: Basic computer skills required; AlphaCam is a plus.
  • Active: Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Full-time, Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM-4:00 PM and Friday 6:30 AM-10:30 AM (with scheduled overtime during busy seasons)
