Purpose of the Role

We are currently seeking an inspiring leader to join us as Store Manager at Aesop Prahran on an 18-month Maximum Term Contract.

This unique opening arises as a direct result of our commitment to internal progression; one of our talented team members is currently stepping into an exciting Retail Development Program. By stepping into this contract, you will not only lead a highly successful signature space, but you will also experience firsthand how Aesop fosters, invests in, and champions the career development of its people.

Working full-time on-site on a Tuesday–Saturday roster, you will be responsible for the overall success of your business via operations and stakeholder relationships. This includes budgeting, store-specific marketing, building the store's client base, and choreographing the daily activities of a team of Retail Consultants. The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, able to grace this role with diligence, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

What we are looking for

• Management experience within customer, retail or hospitality service environment
• Proven track record of effective selling skills and ability to drive commercial outcomes in a retail or hospitality environment
• History of successfully leading and coaching a team, creating an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment
• Demonstrated ability to utilise empathy to manage interpersonal relationships
• Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives
• Strong communication, problem-solving, commercial acumen and merchandising skills
