Data Entry Clerk (ERP / Manufacturing)
Location: Bay Shore, NY
Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00/hour
Schedule: 2nd shift is 4pm - 12:30am OR 3rd Shift (10:30 PM-7:00 AM)
Training: Required on 1st Shift for 4-6 weeks
Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk supports manufacturing operations by executing ERP transactions accurately and in real time. This role partners closely with production, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate order processing, inventory tracking, and reconciliation across production lines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and confident using ERP systems and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Execute ERP transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Open and close process orders daily
Perform order, inventory, and production reconciliation
Support shop floor activities and ensure real-time data entry
Conduct bin counts and assist with inventory management
Use scanners for inventory and production tracking
Analyze production data for accuracy, traceability, and corrections
Maintain work-in-process raw material and rework flow
Perform shift-to-shift and daily reconciliation across all production lines
Create and update job aids to support process improvements
Complete additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience with data entry in an ERP system (Aptean is a plus, not required)
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and functions)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to analyze and correct production data in real time
English proficiency required; bilingual skills are a plus
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Inventory tracking or reconciliation experience
Manufacturing or shop floor environment exposure
Work Schedule & Environment
5 days per week, Monday-Saturday (flexibility required)
Open shift:
2nd shift is 4pm - 12:30am
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM-7:00 AM (+$1/hr differential)
Must be open to training on 1st Shift (5:00 AM-3:30 PM) for the first 4-6 weeks
Role works closely with production, finance, and warehouse teams in a manufacturing setting

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
