Job Description

I. Summary of the position:

The Video Producer plays a key supporting role in bringing BRAVE Church’s video content to life. Working closely with the Lead Video Producer, this individual helps execute projects across the full production lifecycle—from concept development and pre-production planning to on-set production, post-production, and final delivery.

This role helps ensure consistent, high-quality video content that supports and enhances all BRAVE ministries. The Video Producer contributes to pre-produced and post-produced projects, live capture environments, and digital content distribution, helping every video reflect BRAVE’s mission with excellence in storytelling, visual quality, and emotional impact.
As a collaborative storyteller and technical contributor, this individual supports production workflows, manages assigned projects, and helps maintain creative and operational excellence across all video initiatives.
· Assist with pre-production planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
· Support on-set production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
· Organize media assets, manage file systems, and maintain project archives.
· Prepare and export content for digital platforms and ministry distribution.
· Collaborate with ministry teams to execute creative vision and messaging.
· Support the Lead Video Producer in maintaining production standards and timelines.
Success in this role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and dependability. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ministry-driven environment and enjoys both creative storytelling and technical execution.
This is a hands-on position for someone passionate about using video to inspire inform and engage people while helping advance the mission of BRAVE Church through excellent media.

II. Experience and Knowledge Required:

· Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, or a related technical field preferred; alternatively, a combination of formal training, certifications, and 4+ years of hands-on experience in video production will be considered.

· Team-Oriented with Biblical Alignment Demonstrates a collaborative spirit and commitment to working within a team guided by biblical truth and ministry values.

· Visual Storytelling Expertise Skilled in crafting compelling narratives through video and audio, with a strong sense of pacing, emotion, and message clarity.

· Technical Proficiency in Editing Software Proficient in industry-standard tools including Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D considered a plus.

· Camera Operation Experience Hands-on experience with DSLR and cinema-grade cameras, with a deep understanding of framing, lighting, and audio capture.

· Advanced Workflow Knowledge Familiarity with 4K (or higher) video production workflows, including file management, color grading, and export optimization.

· Volunteer Training & Mentorship Ability to teach, mentor, and empower volunteers in video production processes and equipment usage.

· Strong Organizational Skills Exceptional time management and project coordination abilities, with a knack for keeping production timelines on track.

· Multitasking & Project Management Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

III. Key Responsibilities:

· Produce and Publish Video Content Create compelling video content for BRAVE Church and its ministry partners, from concept through final delivery.

· Podcast Production Edit, produce, and distribute engaging podcast episodes for Pastor Jeff Ministries, ensuring high-quality audio and storytelling.

· Testimonial & Storytelling Projects Capture and craft powerful “God at Work” stories and personal testimonies that reflect the heart of BRAVE Church.

· Social Media Content Creation Collaborate on the development of dynamic video and multimedia content tailored for social platforms across BRAVE Church and Pastor Jeff Ministries.

· Live Event Coverage Film high-resolution (4K) footage during services, events, First Tuesdays, Cadres, and student gatherings to document and amplify ministry impact.

· Full-Cycle Video Production Partner with ministry leaders to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver polished video content for services, events, campaigns, and digital outreach.

· Digital Media Archiving Organize and maintain a comprehensive archive of all BRAVE-related video assets for easy access and long-term preservation.

· Creative Collaboration Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of media strategies for major church events and initiatives.

· Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine checks, maintenance, and repairs on video production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

· Other duties as assigned.
