Job Description

Position Overview

The Theology Teacher serves as a faith-filled educator and witness to the Gospel, advancing the mission of a Catholic-Franciscan, college-preparatory high school for young women. Through excellent instruction, authentic Catholic witness, and active participation in the spiritual life of the school, the Theology Teacher fosters students' intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth while helping them develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Theology Teacher collaborates closely with Campus Ministry and school leadership to support the ongoing formation of students and to promote the Franciscan charism throughout the school community. The ideal candidate is a joyful, practicing Catholic who embraces the Church's mission and seeks to inspire young women to live lives of faith, service, peace, and respect for the dignity of every person.

Mission Alignment

For 70 years, Regina High School has been a safe, welcoming community where young women are empowered to grow in confidence, faith, and purpose and where faculty feel equally supported, valued, and inspired in their vocation. Rooted in our Franciscan faith, we foster a spirit of compassion, humility, and service, guiding students to live with intention and care for others. Our strong sense of sisterhood and all-girls environment allows students to truly be themselves—free to explore their interests, find their voice, and discover who they are. With strong academic rigor and personalized support, along with meaningful leadership opportunities and cherished traditions, Regina feels like a second home where every student is known, supported, and inspired to find her community and her path forward.

  • Hold office hours before and/or after school twice per week (same day/time each week) and respond to email and/or phone inquiries within 48 hours during the school week.
