Within the Ambulatory Surgery Center, the Surgery Center Nurse Administrator will guide an efficient outpatient surgical facility—often called a surgery center or ASC—that combines precision with comfort; in this ASC setting, the ASC Director will advance throughput and experience across 2 ORs 1 procedure Room supported by a full RN staff inside an Award Winning Surgical Center, ensuring evidence-based workflows from pre-op to PACU, elevated sterility standards, and a high-reliability culture that consistently meets accreditation benchmarks and surpasses national best-practice guidelines.
Reporting to an executive-level leader such as the Chief Operating Officer and partnering closely with the Medical Director and governing board, the Surgery Center Administrator will oversee perioperative operations, quality, accreditation readiness (AAAHC/Joint Commission/CMS), infection prevention, sterile processing, supply chain, budget stewardship, case scheduling, block optimization, revenue integrity, policy development, and survey preparedness; the Surgery Center Nurse Administrator will mentor a friendly team of RNs, surgical technologists, CRNAs, anesthesia partners, pre-op/PACU clinicians, materials management, and business office professionals, cultivating a diverse, collaborative environment where surgeon satisfaction, patient experience, safety, and continuous improvement thrive.
