Job Summary:

Targeted Victory is hiring interns to support our fast-paced business. We are looking for college students with an interest in Public Affairs, Politics, Consumer Brands, and Social Media to join our dynamic team. TV interns will have access to top digital brands and opportunities to sit down with leading DC executives responsible for many of the nation’s most popular brands and services. Because of the many areas of specialized work at Targeted Victory, team leads will tailor many of the work assignments to the current and future professional interests of interns. Applicants must be able to work in person at our Arlington, VA office.

About our Team:

Our team consists of a talented group of individuals focused on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimizing process flows across Targeted Victory’s robust business operation. The Client Strategy branch of the Operations Team specializes in working with our client strategists and their clientele through providing operational services such as legal, finance and accounting, IT, and product/platform support. We are looking for a college student with an interest in communications, business operations, and project management to join our fast-paced and dynamic team.

• Assist the Operations Team with implementing new systems and processes to improve cross-departmental efficiency.
• Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, reviewing contracts and requests for proposals, and filing documents.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate projects and initiatives related to marketing, client services, billing, finance, and legal.
• Engage in weekly team meetings and discussions regarding business development and operational updates.
• Support updating financial budgets and trackers and assists with pulling financial reports for reporting and reconciliation. 
• Track new business opportunities and maintain active updates in the Salesforce CRM system in conjunction with the Business Development team.
• Monitor events, award shows, and other marketing opportunities that Targeted Victory may be interested in participating in.
• Assist in event management for company events, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, guest list management, and day-of logistics. 
• Process the monthly commissions' workbook from the Finance Team, which includes ensuring spend totals are accurate, updating memos, and flagging any new partnership deals added to the system.

This position is for individuals who are self-starters driven to follow new marketing trends and opportunities, and ideally should have:

• Ability to thrive in a campaign-style work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to grasp new skills quickly
