• This position is responsible for accounts receivable and customer relations for AA Cargo domestic Customer accounts. 

What you'll do

• Reconciliation of Cargo Customer Credit Accounts 
• Assist Cargo Credit Customers with all types of billing, rating and settlement questions 
• Research and resolution of billing discrepancies for customers 
• Interfacing with customer to obtain required documentation for billing/discrepancy audit and correct application of customer payments 
• Maintain receivable aging within established targets 
• Work with customer to secure payment for past due items 
• Heavy phone, email and verbal contact with credit customers, AA Sales, AA Revenue Management, AA Operations, AA cargo facilities and 3rd party vendors/partners  
• Ad Hoc project as assigned 

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Accounting degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred 
• Ability to multi-task  
• Strong Mathematical, problem solving, and analytical skills are required 
• Previous credit experience is a plus 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and management 
• Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines  
• Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, and iCargo preferred 

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience with Excel

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to work intuitively and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customers 
• Ability to work independently. 
• Knowledge of Accounting principles, conceptual and analytical skills, and excellent problem solving ability. 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office  (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word) are required 
• Knowledge of SABRE and other commercial systems are a plus
