Position Charter The Social Media Marketing Contractor is a remote, contract role within the Marketing team responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across key channels.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly across global time zones and coordinate with colleagues in different regions. This is a fully remote role.
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Contractor to support audience growth and ecosystem expansion efforts across global regions. This role blends content creation, analytics, and market research, offering hands-on experience at the intersection of communications, data, and business strategy. You’ll work closely with cross-functional team members to help grow engagement, measure impact, and identify new opportunities for expanding our ecosystem in emerging and strategic markets.
What You’ll Do
Content & Communications
Create social media content across multiple platforms to support campaigns, events, and announcements
Manage content scheduling, ensuring balanced cadence covering content from different business units across multiple social media platforms
Help maintain content calendars and ensure consistent messaging across channels
Analytics & Measurement
Track and analyze social media performance, website traffic, and campaign metrics
Build simple reports and dashboards to surface insights and trends, and make recommendations
Use data to help evaluate what content and campaigns are driving audience growth and engagement
What We’re Looking For
Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in communications, business, marketing, international studies, data analytics, or a related field
Strong writing skills and comfort creating content for digital platforms Interest in audience growth, ecosystem building, or community-driven organizations Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, native social analytics,etc)
Curious, organized, and comfortable working across multiple projects
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team
A deep interest in measuring impact, analyzing content performance, and continuously optimizing messaging based on data and audience insights
Nice to Have
Experience with content management systems, email tools, or social scheduling platforms
Salary $18-20 USD per hour
