Hiring: Site Reliability Engineer SRE

Hours : Fulltime, Monday through Friday, Hybrid with flexible shifts

Pay: Annually based on experience

Summary:

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who is passionate about building reliable, scalable systems and improving platform performance. In this role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening the reliability and observability of the FreightWise platform , helping us deliver fast, stable, and innovative solutions to our customers.

What you will do:

• Design and implement full-stack observability by evaluating current tools and introducing improved monitoring and metrics solutions
• Lead blameless incident response and post-mortems to continuously improve system reliability
• Mentor engineers in best practices for logging, monitoring, and measuring reliability
• Partner with engineering leadership to define and track KPIs for platform reliability and performance
• Deploy infrastructure updates using Terraform on AWS
• Build POC to demonstrate logging and metrics across different frameworks and languages
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain a high-performance, highly available platform

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Five years of similar experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code , Terraform is required
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Experience supporting containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS)
• Ability to troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
• Passion for improving engineering practices and system reliability
