As a Security Officer Patrol Services Agent in Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech-focused location where you will patrol assigned areas stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and this unarmed role you will support daily operations with a caring agile and reliable approach working as part of a team that values innovation and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and security-related policies within a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns and/or documenting activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas common spaces parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and other assigned areas helping to manage visitor traffic report suspicious behavior and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
