Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our technology organization and support Agile delivery across enterprise Wealth Management platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and financial services, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring successful sprint execution and delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices to improve team maturity and productivity.
  • Identify, manage, and remove impediments to ensure the team can deliver sprint commitments effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and project goals.
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown metrics, and delivery status using Agile reporting tools.
  • Promote continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable process enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and support release planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise Agile standards, governance, and delivery practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing Agile team culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong experience supporting Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services technology projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics, sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Brokerage, or Capital Markets platforms.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed or hybrid Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.
