We are currently seeking a Salesforce Copado QA Engineer to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Job Title: Salesforce QA Engineer / Copado Explorer & Robotic Testing Specialist

Location: Pune, work from customer office 4 days in a week
Employment Type: Full time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Copado Explorer and/or Copado Robotic Testing . The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of QA experience in Salesforce/Copado , with strong expertise in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and automation testing for Salesforce applications.

The candidate should be comfortable testing Salesforce applications across configuration, customization, integrations, workflows, and business processes, while leveraging Copado testing tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and Salesforce application workflows.
• Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data, and traceability documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.
• Use Copado Explorer to document, execute, and track manual testing activities.
• Use Copado Robotic Testing to create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts, where applicable.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, flows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, page layouts, security settings, and integrations.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using standard defect management tools.
• Support test automation strategy, regression test suite maintenance, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, scrum masters, and other QA team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test status reporting, defect triage, and release readiness discussions.
• Support post-deployment validation and production smoke testing as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in Salesforce/Copado .
• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce testing across functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Experience with Copado Explorer and/or Copado Robotic Testing .
• Ability to create test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data, and test execution reports.
• Good understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, data model, security model, profiles, roles, permission sets, validation rules, workflows, flows, and approval processes.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations with external systems.
• Experience in defect logging, defect tracking, defect retesting, and defect lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce clouds.
• Experience in automation testing using Copado Robotic Testing .
• Experience using Copado Explorer for exploratory testing, test documentation, and test execution tracking.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or similar.
• Copado certifications related to Copado Explorer or Copado Robotic Testing.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts from a QA validation perspective.
• Candidate need one of the exposure below.

• Option 1

  Exposure to industry platforms such as Murex, Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg, SimCorp, Calypso, or similar financial systems.

  Option 2

  Experience supporting Asset Management projects involving portfolio management, investment operations, fund accounting, or performance reporting.

  Option 3

  - Hands-on experience working on Capital Markets projects across trade lifecycle, front office, middle office, or back-office operations.

  -  Good understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and related transaction workflows
