About the Role

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring two reliable cleaners for a recurring window washing job at a retail store in Lakeside Village. Store name is released after onboarding. We're also working on adding a store cleaning to this location — if that happens, it's added pay on the same visit. This is occasional, foot-in-the-door recurring work — not full or part time. Great fit if you already clean and want solid per-visit pay added to your schedule. Cleaners who do good work get steady recurring assignments from us. Soonest confirmed spots win.

This is a 2-person job — read this part

We hire two cleaners separately and you work the store as a team. Each person earns their own full pay — you are not splitting one rate. We prefer the two hires not be related or in a relationship, so there's always coverage. You're welcome to bring your own helper instead, but a helper splits your one spot's pay, and we still hire a second person regardless.

Location, Schedule & Pay (per person, per visit)

- Lakeside Village — Lakeland, FL 33803

- Window Washing — $35 per person, per visit (up to 10 windows; more windows = more time and more pay)

- First date: being rescheduled for this week or next — tell us in your application which days DON'T work for you

- Arrival is usually in the 7–10 AM window

- Recurring every 3 months after that

- About 45 minutes to 1 hour on site with two people working

Pay

- Flat $35 per person, per visit — works out to roughly $35–$47/hour depending on pace. Faster, thorough work raises your effective hourly.

- Check in, before/after photos, and check out all run through our app. That's how the job is tracked and how you get paid.

- Payment averages 24–48 hours after the visit is completed, checked out, and confirmed.

- Parking reimbursed only with a full receipt (date, time in, time out, place, total).

The Work

Clean and remove smudges from entry door glass inside and out. Clean and polish handles, sills, and doorplates. Remove spider webs. Wipe down frames and ledges. Remove gum, debris, and tape. Squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners. Wipe ledges dry. Full detailed checklist provided after onboarding.

Requirements

- Must be 21 or older

- Prior cleaning experience

- Window washing experience — you scrub the full glass with an applicator/scrubbing tool and squeegee it off. Spray-and-towel doesn't qualify.

- Reliable personal transportation

- Smartphone for check-in, photos, and check-out

Supplies

Bring your own supplies for a $5 per-visit bonus, or North Co provides them — either is fine. Tell us what you have: all, some, or none.

Window Washing: window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, extension pole (for the tops of the glass), glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, scraper or razor (gum/tape/debris), bucket.

Optional: step stool.

Dress Code

Slip-resistant shoes recommended (we'll help you get a pair if needed). Clean plain blue or black shirt — branded North Co shirt at 3 months. Jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive clean and presentable.

Photos & Check-Out

Before/after photos of all glass inside and out, checked in and out through the app, and the store manager confirms the work before you leave. This is how the job gets tracked and how you get paid fast.

Communication

The #1 priority. Respond promptly, check in and out on time, and tell us ahead if anything changes.
