Job Description

Job Overview : The Production Planner/Scheduler coordinates supply with production needs to meet customer demand. Insures appropriate amounts of inventory is held to meet customer service goals while minimizing carrying costs, improving production efficiencies meeting company goals, safety, and government compliance.

  • Maintain a prioritized list of new initiatives and ensure projects are communicated and managed in order to achieve target ship dates and volumes.

Qualifications

MUST

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Experience in alcohol beverage industry or cpg overall
  • High school diploma or ged equivalent
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of ms office products (word, excel and outlook)

PREFERRED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of import/export processes/regulations (fda, us customs)
  • Successful implementation of an integrated planning/forecasting system

Experience

MUST

  • Requires experience in manufacturing software (erp, mrp, mps, wms)
  • Requires experience managing a creative product process
  • 5 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Requires supply chain experience

PREFERRED

  • Organizational development experience
