job summary:
Seeking a skilled Pipe Foreman to lead underground utility crews in the Tidewater area. In this role, you will oversee the installation of water, sewer, and storm systems, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet strict safety standards. Candidates must be proficient in reading plans/grades, using pipe lasers, and managing diverse materials like PVC and ductile iron. work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of field employees

• Follow project plans and schedules

• Translate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for the crew

• Material procurement and scheduling

• Prepare reports as required

Qualifications

• Experience with managing crews during installation of water, gravity sewer, sewer force main, and storm drain

• Ability to proficiently read plans, survey layouts, centerline, and grade is a must

• Ability to use and understand tools such as sight level, pipe laser, and transit is a must

• Familiarity with various pipe materials (PVC, ductile iron, concrete, HDPE) and appropriate installation techniques
