Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and routine maintenance of our diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our fleet stays on the road (or on the job site) safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic software and traditional "ear-to-the-engine" troubleshooting to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine services including oil changes, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments.

  • System Repairs: Execute complex repairs on engines, transmissions, exhaust systems (including after-treatment/DEF), and drivetrain components.

  • Brakes & Suspension: Inspect and repair air brake systems, steering linkages, and suspension components to ensure DOT compliance.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate digital records of all repairs, parts used, and labor hours via our shop management system.

  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean work bay and adhere to all OSHA and environmental safety regulations.

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 8 hours at one time
