JOB DESCRIPTION

NOV is looking for a motivated technician to test, troubleshoot and repair all electronic and electro-mechanical rig surface equipment. Perform maintenance requirements on equipment set up and maintain all required repair records.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment for the purpose of fault detection, identify failure criteria and discrepancies with all equipment.

• Troubleshoot electronic devices and circuits to component level.

• Reliably repair all equipment to spec. Read and understand engineering documentation.

• Work with and understand circuit flow.

• Work with AC and DC voltage, mA to A currents, data signals.

• Must have strong understanding of computer processes, diagnostics, work with BIOS, installing programs.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Able to log, track and coordinate electronic data.

• Able to use electronic test equipment.

• Strong mechanical understanding

• Able to assemble and disassemble all types of equipment.

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

• Able to clean and paint equipment to include pressure washing, hand scrubbing and use of spray paint

• Motivated, self-driven to accomplish goals

Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electronics /or technical degree with 3 years of working experience

• Proven background in Electronic Repair

• Self Starter that hits the ground running
