Location: Hudson, Ohio
Pay Range: $17-20/hr (based on experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Job Summary :
The finishing operator finishes and assembles small parts. This is an entry level skillset and training can be done on the job. This is an entry level skillset and training can be done on the job. This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the position. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively, and efficiently decreases accidents and errors and increase profits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assembly of small parts
• Use bending fixtures to shape parts
• Use presses to install parts
• Use hand tools
• Lift up to 50lb boxes repeatedly
• Perform QA checks on running parts
• Replace labels and ribbons on label makers
• Basic piece and time transactions on RF scanner
• Lubricate equipment as needed
• Use of basic quality gages
• Meet production schedules and timelines
• Complete all paperwork the role requires
• Follow all work instructions in the department
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Overtime availability
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience with RF guns
• Basic computer skills
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Mechanical aptitude
PREFERRED SKILLS
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
